Your role As Technical Lead, you play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation for our customers by providing guidance, support, and coordination to the team for our in-house developed controls software based on QNX or Linux and C++, used across all areas of Vanderlande: Airports, Warehousing, and Distribution. You and the team are the last level of support within the Service Desk organization and are therefore dealing with the more complex incidents to restore service, then identify the root-cause. Preventing is much better than reacting and that is why you take decisions on developing solid, permanent solutions and take care of smooth implementation; delivering reliable support that meets service agreements. In most cases, you will provide this support remotely via a VPN-connection. That said, on a regular basis you will visit the customer to perform upgrades and other changes as we continue to implement ways to improve our systems on site.
