Steward (Doelgroepregister-wajong)
This vacancy is for a Steward position at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen. The role involves guiding students and staff around the campus, ensuring order and cleanliness, and enforcing policies like the smoking and bicycle regulations. This is a part-time position, with the number of hours per week being between 24 and 36, and the working hours are negotiable.
The ideal candidate will have an MBO (secondary vocational education) level of work and thinking, be presentable and well-groomed, possess an open and approachable attitude, and have good verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English. A willingness to undertake training to become a traffic controller in the future is also required. This role is specifically aimed at individuals registered in the Wajong target group (people with a work disability) and is considered a participation job, aligning with Hanze's commitment to providing workplaces for individuals with barriers to employment. The salary is €16.76 per hour, and the contract is temporary, initially until the end of the school year.
