Werkzaamheden

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer Assembly in Papendrecht to expand our Manufacturing Engineering team. As a key member of the assembly team, you’ll support operational deliveries by preparing and managing product-related documentation, analyzing production characteristics, managing non-conformities, and defining temporary production instructions for landing gear components.

To be successful, you’ll need over 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in aerospace, and a related Engineering degree. You should also have experience managing product/process introductions, a working knowledge of LEAN processes, and strong documentation skills. Fluency in English is essential.

This is a detachment position at Fokker Aerospace B.V. You'll contribute to unique projects prioritizing the safety of aircraft and helicopters. This role offers the opportunity to advance to an NC approver position. Contact Annick den Hoed at Yacht for more details.

Functie-eisen

- Experience in managing (new) Product / Process introduction (industrialization) & existing production process improvements.
- 10+ years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably with some experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment,
- Degree in a related Engineering discipline, such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive.
- Ability to influence people, build trust and establish effective working relationship within a global organization.
- Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices.
- Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000.
- Quality driven and strong documentation / reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and of surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) would be an advantage.
- Fluency in English, both in writing & speaking.
