We are seeking a (Junior) Business Controller to play a vital role in translating financial data into actionable insights for our international organization. You'll contribute to reports, analyses, and forecasts, and proactively suggest process improvements. You'll utilize modern tools like Power BI and Excel, gaining the independence to develop into a key business partner.

This role offers a direct contract with our client, an innovative and globally-minded company. You will collaborate with colleagues to generate financial insights that drive strategic decisions, working in an informal yet professional team that values collaboration and professional development.

We offer a salary of €3,000 - €4,000 gross per month, flexible 32-40 hour work weeks, a direct contract, a solid pension plan, travel allowance, and the opportunity to work for an international company in Hengelo with potential for remote work.

To be successful, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field, along with experience in a financial or analytical role. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and familiarity with Power BI or Power Query is a plus. We are looking for a quick learner who is detail-oriented and enjoys simplifying complex data, as well as strong English communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include preparing financial reports and dashboards, assisting with budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analyses, collaborating with other departments, and contributing to reporting process optimization.
